Hello
and thank you for visiting my favorite part of this website! My name is
Gino, and I am the Official Mascot for American Recycled Plastic! I am
tail-waggin' thrilled to be a Mascot, as I used to be in the Racing
business.....but more about that later.
You
can
rest assured that when you buy things from my company, I will personally
supervise all the staff at American Recycled Plastic and make sure they
make you the best furniture ever! You will really enjoy recycled plastic
outdoor furniture, I have some in my own backyard and I must say, I am
having a hard time destroying these picnic tables, benches and rockers!
It's not like wood products, which were so easy for me to chew up in the
past. And when I have a little "accident" on recycled plastic, I
don't get into any trouble - because the nice folks at American Recycled
Plastic tell me animal urine does not affect the plastic at all! Boy does
that make me happy!
For
all those who are curious, I am a 88lb, 3 year old retired Greyhound
racer. I look big, but I am really just a huge Couch Potato! I love to
sleep, I love to go on walks and most of all I just love having my ears
scratched. On August 28th,2002 I was rescued from a local shelter and
given a terrific home to live in with a big backyard and kids & cats
to play with! But during the day, I was bored and decided I needed a new
career. After much discussion with my best friend Mike, we decided I
should go to work with him every day. And , so, I no longer have to race -
I have a nice place to live and work, and I'm so happy I was rescued by
Mike!
You
know, the folks at the shelter where I stayed were so nice to me, but they
just can't equal a loving home. If you are considering adding a pet to
your home, and have carefully considered the costs and responsibilities,
then PLEASE go to your local shelter and tell them GINO sent you! You'll
be able to select a wonderful new pet to love and will be saving a life in
the process - remember, 3 out of 4 animals in shelters never find homes
and must be euthanized*. An animal from the shelter will also be spayed or
neutered for you too!
And
who knows, maybe your new pet can become your Official Mascot too - let's
start a trend!!!
Thanks
for stopping by Gino's Page. Come back soon, please visit me! If you're in
the area, stop in and see me -- I'm here most every day, busy napping!
