Now
there's a real alternative available, for homeowners who simply want
to enjoy their deck and patio furniture without maintenance
headaches. Recycled plastic lumber is as easy to work with as
conventional lumber: it can be drilled, routed & fastened using
standard woodworking tools. But with recycled plastic lumber, you
can avoid all the maintenance hassles that come with traditional
wood, such as painting, staining or applying sealer. It won't crack,
rot, splinter or chip and is impervious to insects, mold, mildew and
saltwater.
But the benefits of plastic lumber go beyond its
maintenance-free nature. In addition to a complete line of lumber ,
custom rail caps, milled spindles and preassembled rail sections are
available. Decking lumber and stair treads are also available in a
knurled finish. You can choose from several standard colors to suit your
individual taste and create the deck of your dreams. Each piece is precolored throughout to assure fade resistance and enhance the
beauty of your deck for years to come.
When you use recycled plastic lumber, you've made an environmentally
sound choice. Our plastic lumber is made from recycled, post-consumer
high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that would otherwise end up in a
landfill. In addition, recycled plastic does not contain any of the
toxic chemicals found in treated lumber, so they will not leach or
contaminate the soil or ground water. In addition, by choosing
recycled plastic lumber you will help halt the destruction of trees
and rainforests, and you will be purchasing a material that is not
only recycled, but fully recyclable as well!
